In the Summer of 2024, I went on an incredible trip around the US. My first stop was Badlands National Park on 08-11-2024. During my first night there, I started to shoot the night sky with my camping neighbor (who soon became a good friend) with no strong expectations. Though, as I took my first long exposure shots, I started seeing unusual colored stripes.
I knew something interesting was happening... Northern lights!
